About Dr. Goodson

Leigh B. Goodson has served as president and chief executive officer of Tulsa Community College since July 2014.  As president at TCC, she successfully launched and met the College’s $20 million campaign, developed Oklahoma’s first “early college high school program,” gained TCC acceptance into the AACC Pathways Project funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and launched the Tulsa Transfer Collaborative Foundation of Excellence; a collaborative partnership with six universities.  Most recently, Goodson has been named one of Oklahoma’s most admired CEOs and is an active member of her community by serving on the boards of the Oklahoma State Chamber of Commerce, Tulsa World Advisory Board, and the YMCA of Greater Tulsa Metropolitan, to name a few.  Goodson has invested herself and her career in education as a community college president, university professor and administrator. Her priority and passion is student success.
